Hobré Instruments introduces the Galvanic 903 H2S Tape Analyser as an extension of their product range for H2S and S process analysers
The Galvanic’s 903 H2S Tape Analyser is designed to measure up to 4 streams of Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) and Total Sulphur in Gaseous streams of varying concentrations. The new 903 H2S Tape Analyser has the same rapid 20 second response time of the traditional lead acetate tape, while making unprecedented advances in accuracy and linearity, and reduced operation cost.
The 903 comes with a Windows application which can be used to configure and monitor its operation. All aspects of the 903 can be configured including alarms, sequence of analysis operation, digital in- and outputs, analog in- and outputs, communications and logging. The application has an analysis window with further break downs like, communication parameters, different setup windows, maintenance, archives and event log.
The 903 H2S Tape Analyser is fully developed and manufactured in-house by Galvanic with their own software and hardware engineers which have resulted in a unique design of the microprocessor controlled sensor. It compensates for drift, aging and tape variances and has digital signal processing all directly installed on the sample chamber for best accuracy and repeatability. A direct drive tape transport is used to eliminate springs and pulleys and the amount of tape pulled through the analyser is measured with an optical encoder. Furthermore Galvanic is producing their own tapes, which are stronger and have a length of 100 meter.
All above results in a robust analyser with less maintenance compared to other tape analysers.
