Customer experience and service comes first at Hobre. That’s why we are pleased to announce that Michel Eskes has accepted the position of Global Strategic Account Manager to provide our customers with a coordinated level of support. 

 

In times of global emergencies such as today’s world, Hobré will take action. Especially now that we need to keep customer contact more digital and at a distance, it is even more important to build, maintain and intensify a trusted relationship with our customers in this situation. This is currently happening on various fronts within Hobre.

One of the first measures we take is to intensify contact with our most important customers, companies that are close to their most important customers are generally better able to cope with disruptive events and maintain a steady flow of business. The combination of COVID-19 and low crude oil prices poses a global challenge, these events of the past few weeks have made us decide to devote more attention to our strategic global accounts by assigning a “Global Strategic Account Manager”.

Main objectives of the Global Strategic Account Manager are:

  1. Ensuring that Hobre takes optimum care of the customer between and within all the different parts of the organization.
  2. Generate attention and acceptance for products, solutions and applications at the required level within the strategic account.
  3. Ensuring that Hobre is preferred as a supplier of solutions and services within the strategic account.
  4. Building bridges between the various branches and concluding global contracts.
  5. Seeking to establish and managing formal alliance partnerships.

We have asked Michel Eskes to accept this position focusing on ExxonMobil, General Electric and British Petroleum (BP), in addition to these companies Michel will focus on the local natural gas market because of his home location and contacts within Dutch Gasunie. This means that in addition to providing updates on the three strategic accounts Michel will regularly call on you to obtain information from within your strategic account local network. As Dale Langham Commercial Officer; commented, “when discussing who would be the correct person to handle this new and important position Michel was first to be thought of, in my few months here I have come to realize that Michel is a Hobre Ambassador who can represent Hobre on any front, technical or sales and that is what this position requires”.

Other important global accounts (e.g. Shell, Total, Saudi Aramco, DOW etc.) will be handled by others (to be determined soon).

As a result, Michel’s current position as sales director will be discontinued, his current responsibilities will be taken over by Dale Langham and the European Area Managers will from now on report directly to the CCO.
